Sodium aliphatate is produced by the reaction of sodium hydroxide with mixed fatty acids using a continuous saponification method. Its specific physical properties vary with changes in the alkyl chain length. The powder is soluble in water. It exhibits excellent lubrication, wetting, dispersion, emulsification, demolding, and cleaning capabilities. It is suitable for soaping after textile dyeing, rapid washing of oil stains on production equipment and sites, use as a flotation collector in mineral processing, and as a foaming agent in concrete.
